GM paid back their loan! Well, not so fast.

You have probably seen this commercial in which CEO, Ed Whitacare, claims that GM has already paid back its government loan.

Well, not so fast. Paul Ryan explains what really happened.

Supreme Court: Mojave cross can stay

The good news, the cross can stay. The bad news, it was another 5/4 ruling and another example of how precarious the balance of power is on the Supreme Court.

Tale of two protests

I don't know why I'm still surprised. ABC News described the Immigration rallies as "Mostly peaceful", but Tea Party rallies as "Very ugly". It's no surprise that they described the L.A. Riots as "A jubilant celebration". Okay, I made that last one up.

One thing that makes Bertha Lewis so frightening is her sincerity. I think she really believes in her cause.

Paul Ryan on government spending

Here is another effective statement from Paul Ryan. His star is on the rise and he is becoming increasingly effective, but to some degree, he's been flying under the radar. If his current trajectory continues, it will only be a matter of time before the media tries to discredit him.

Rare footage found from 1954: Ronald Reagan, James Dean

This was fun to watch, rare footage of Ronald Reagan and James Dean acting in an episode of The Dark, Dark Hours.

Something Bush would never get away with

The White House continues steam roll the media, how much longer are they are they going to accept this kind of behavior. If Bush were still president this, no doubt, would be a major story.

How about a new national gas tax?

What is even more unbelievable than talk of a new gas tax is republican Lindsey Graham throwing his support behind this legislation.

This is an interesting story. Several police departments around the country are testing head-mounted cameras for their police officers. It goes places where the dashboard cam cannot.

Obama's disregard for media reaches new heights at nuclear summit

Obama's disregard for media reaches new heights at nuclear summit

This is a chilling account of how the American press is being systematically marginalized and shutout by the Obama administration. Maybe the press corps will wake up and start doing their job instead of acting as Obama's collective press secretary.

Careful what you say, you might be a racist, unless you're on the Left

Norah O'Donnell (no relation to Rosie, I think) is concerned that Newt Gingrich's comments about Obama were racist. What did Newt say that was so racist? He said, “shooting three-point shots may be clever, but it doesn’t put anybody to work.” He was referring to this.

No word on what Norah thought about Chris Matthews forgetting that Obama was black for a whole hour, or Dan Rather's comment about selling watermelon.

'Great Satan' to the rescue

Here is something you don't hear very often; some places in the world still respect America and it's because of George Bush.

Parts of Africa have been devastated by AIDS. However, because the United States began a drug donation program in 2004, millions of lives have been saved. This is a riveting story.

Gingrich: Obama is "The most radical president in American history"

More often than not, Newt Gingrich is the smartest man in the room and I think he would make a fine president. I also think that the odds of him becoming president are slim at best. Why, because his demeanor is serious and stern, he lacks the likability that we seem to require from a president in this media age. Given the serious issues we face as a country, I think someone like Gingrich is exactly what we need. If the American public understands what we are facing as well, perhaps at that point, he might have a shot at the presidency.

Obama responds to Sarah Palin

Funny thing about Obama saying that he would not respond to Sarah Palin... because right after he said that, he responded to Sarah Palin. How does Palin continue to be part of the political debate? By the way, 55% of Americans agree with Palin, only 25% support Obama's nuclear policy.

Perhaps all is not lost. This young man understands how the world really works.

When talking points and attacks aren't enough

The Left is notorious for projecting their own issues onto others. They like to throw rocks, hide their hands, then blame conservatives for the broken window. But sometimes, they get caught red handed.

First up, Ed Shultz puts his foot in his mouth.

Then Ariana Huffington smiles really hard to hide her well deserved embarrassment.

Next is Jodie Evans, co-founder of Code Pink.

And last but not least is Maxine Waters who was outraged by the behavior of the Tea Party protesters. You know, they were waving flags and stuff, really disgusting behavior. Apparently she forgot about a rally that she attended during the Bush administration. I apologize for the profanity in the video, but that is what the protest consisted of.
