Ouch!

This is a pretty powerful piece of video criticizing the President. What gives it a political punch is the criticism leveled by prominent Democrats and Obama supporters.

Tavis Smiley: Christians 'Blow things up everyday'

Tavis Smiley is convinced that Christians are a far greater terrorist threat than radical Islamists. In fact, he claims that Christians in America are engaged in terrorist activities everyday. I wonder what would have happened if he made the same claim about Muslims.

Of course, this is not the first time we've heard this kind of nonsense.

It even comes from places you wouldn't expect. If Charles Barkley had made these comments about any other group of people, he would no longer be a sportscaster or pitchman. At least not without the appropriate public scourging and apology tour.

New York City board approves plan to locate mosque near ground zero

James Carville blows a gusher

Ardent Democrat and Obama booster, James Carville, blows a verbal gusher all over the President for his handling of the oil spill. Notice how quickly George Stephanopoulos steps in to change the subject and plug the hole. But that still didn't stop Carville from taking one last jab at Obama.

UPDATE: Peggy Noonan had some thoughts about the signifance of Carville's comments in her Op-ed piece:
"What continues to fascinate me is Mr. Obama's standing with Democrats. They don't love him. Half the party voted for Hillary Clinton, and her people have never fully reconciled themselves to him. But he is what they have. They are invested in him. In time—after the 2010 elections go badly—they are going to start to peel off. The political operative James Carville, the most vocal and influential of the president's Gulf critics, signaled to Democrats this week that they can start to peel off. He did it through the passion of his denunciations."

New York Democrats introduce 'shoot to wound' legislation for city cops

City cops are livid over a legislative proposal that could handcuff the brave officers involved in life-and-death confrontations every day -- requiring them to shoot gun-wielding suspects in the arm or leg rather than shoot to kill, The Post has learned. Full story>>

Amazing hypocrisy

Mexican president Felipe Calderon recently criticized the U.S., Arizona in particular, for seeking to control it's border. Well, as it turns out, Mexico has far harsher immigration laws than the U.S.

Even more amazing, Sam Donaldson defends Calderon's remarks and compares Arizona to the Tiananmen Square Massacre.

Frank talk from a politician. Wouldn't it be nice to see more of it?

California high school puts on strip show

Reportedly with several teachers looking on, students at a Paramount California high school put on a talent show that degenerated into an impromptu strip show. Apparently, not one single teacher had the good sense to put a stop to it.

And today makes it 3 for 3

If you're keeping score, Matthew McCabe is the third Navy SEAL to be acquitted of charges that should have never been filed in the first place for allegedly hitting a terrorist. Now we can put this sad saga behind us. Hopefully we won't see anything like it again.

Shouldn't those people always vote Democrat

MSNBC is absolutely amazed that there are thirty-two black Republican candidates running for office. Luke Russert is amazed that they are seeking endorsements from the Tea Party... well because ya know, everybody (especially if they're in the MSM) knows that the Tea Party is nothing but a bunch of racists.

See, here's proof, just ask Janeane Garaferolo, or is it Garufalaful, or maybe Garafootal...

UPDATE: Lt. Colonel Allen West makes appearance on MSNBC.

Gibbs demonstrates how to be condescending and dismissive... again

We've seen this before, reporter asks reasonable but tough question, Gibbs deflects, chases tail, invites everyone to follow. But today, maybe the press corps was a little more restless than usual.

Bill Maher sits at the grown-up table

I have no idea why Bill Maher was invited to sit at the adult table, but George Will demonstrates why Maher needs to go back to his own set (and panel of sycophants). Somehow they still managed to stack the panel with  three Leftists against 1.5 conservatives.
