When the health care debut was in full swing, Clinton urged the Obama administration to pass the Health Care Bill despite fierce public opposition. He was convinced that once it passed, America would embrace the new legislation with open arms. As of 2:00 PM this afternoon, that still hasn't happened.
To his credit, David Gregory asked the former president about his miscalculation and the continuing anger over ObamaCare.

A decision to rescind endorsement of the drug would reignite the highly charged debate over US health care reform and how much the state should spend on new and expensive treatments. Full Story>>

Dean: ObamaCare mandate won't survive
Howard Dean makes two predictions in this clip:
- The ObamaCare mandate is D.O.A
- Democrates will gain seats in November
I'm predicting that one of those predictions is wrong.

Missouri voters reject Obamacare: Prop C passes with over 70% of vote
Given an opportunity to make their voices heard over the recently passed healthcare legislation, Missouri voters overwhelmingly rejected Obamacare. However, it is interesting that the only two people the local news could find to interview were opposed to Prop C.

Britain Plans to Decentralize National Health Care - NYTimes.com
Even as the new coalition government said it would make enormous cuts in the public sector, it initially promised to leave health care alone. But in one of its most surprising moves so far, it has done the opposite, proposing what would be the most radical reorganization of the National Health Service, as the system is called, since its inception in 1948.
Practical details of the plan are still sketchy. But its aim is clear: to shift control of England’s $160 billion annual health budget from a centralized bureaucracy to doctors at the local level. Under the plan, $100 billion to $125 billion a year would be meted out to general practitioners, who would use the money to buy services from hospitals and other health care providers. Full Story>>

Obama appointee: Healthcare plan must redistribute wealth
Barack Obama made a recess appointment of David Berwick to head the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services today.
Below is an excerpt from a 2008 speech given to a British audience in which he made the following statement, “Any health care funding plan that is just, equitable, civilized, and humane must, must redistribute wealth from the richer among us to the poorer and the less fortunate. Excellent health care is by definition redistributional.”
UPDATE: White House responds, well not really, but here is Gibbs not answering a reporter's question about Berwick's comments.

Who cares about the constitution?
Democrat congressman Phil Hare expresses his indifference toward the constitution.
Let me see, that reminds me of someone else who doesn't seem too concerned about the constitution... or his tax returns.

Paul Ryan nails it... Again
Ryan is a force to be reckoned with. When he delivers a speech or debates an issue, he is a mix of tight logic and rhetorical brilliance. Here he is again clearly articulating why this "health care" bill is bad for America.
Al Sharpton gets it... sort off
Al Sharpton understands that Obama is a socialist... but he doesn't understand that America thought Obama was a centrist. Why they thought that, I don't know.

Luck of the Amish
I've always admired the Amish, now I'm thinking about becoming one. It appears they will be exempt from any health care legislation that might become law. However, there is some good news; according to Christopher Dodd, the health care bill is "Hanging by a thread". But, just in case, I'm going to buy a big hat and shine my buckles. Wait, I might be confusing them with the Pilgrims... but I'm still getting that hat.
