Incoherent Barbara Boxer
Barbara Boxer is not used to having her claims challenged so she feels free to make completely absurd statements. But in this segment, even Wolf Blitzer has to question her math. Then the comedy really begins.

Bill Press: Man of the Left
Bill Press, talk show host and former chair of the California Democratic Partry, perfectly represents the Left. He compared the Glenn Beck rally to Al-Qeida and said that the Lincoln Memorial is too sacred for talk about God (I wonder what Lincoln would say about that). By the way, he also supported the Fairness Doctrine. He is everything he accuses those on the Right of being, totalitarian and intolerant.
Bill Press throws his support behind the Fairness Doctrine.

Dems campaign against Bush while asking for his help with GZ mosque
Here is one of the latest ads from the DNC which features an unflattering cameo of former President George Bush.
But there has been an interesting development of late. Since President Obama's recent comments about the GZ mosque, he's had to weather a fierce storm of controversy. Now many on the Left are urging former President Bush to jump into the fray and come to the aid of President Obama. Where is Alanis Morissette when you need her?
Update: The DNC has already yanked the ad from the internet and airwaves. Fortunately, it was captured by Legal Insurrection before it was pulled.

Obama to GOP: 'You can't have the keys back, you don't know how to drive.'
The Washington Post--The president said the Republican Party lack one "single, solitary new idea" and are "betting on amnesia" to help them in November. During a bit that drew hearty laughs from the Democratic audience, he likened the GOP to a driver who has gone into a ditch, and after not helping to push the car out, demands the keys back. Troubled Waters
Washington (CNN) -- A House ethics investigative panel has charged a high-ranking Democratic congresswoman with violating House rules by seeking federal assistance for a bank with financial ties to her husband.
According to the House ethics committee, California Rep. Maxine Waters helped arrange a meeting in September 2008 between Massachusetts-based OneUnited Bank and Treasury Department officials. Full Story>>

Cornel West: President Obama's 'No Messiah'
Cornel West is a man of the Left; Princeton University professor, member of the Democratic Socialists of America, and Obama supporter. That's what makes his comments in a recent interview all the more interesting:
By the way, there is also a Hollywood connection for Cornel. You might remember that he had a small part in the Matrix trilogy as a member of the council and he also had a hand in developing the storyline as well.
On Glenn Beck: "I'll fight for the right of Glenn Beck to express his opinion. Even he has a right to be wrong, which he is most of the time. ... Beck appears to have a certain preoccupation with black folk. Why is he so obsessed with black people? I notice he doesn't give the Amish that much attention."
On what President Obama is doing wrong: "While he's made some good, positive changes, I don't think he's a messiah or even a very progressive politician. It turns out when you talk about hope, you have to be a long-distance runner."
On his current relationship with Obama: "He doesn't return my calls. ... I did 65 events for my dear brother Barack on the campaign trail but have not seen him since Martin Luther King Day 2008. ... I couldn't even get a ticket to the Inauguration for my mother. ... I think he has the kind of disposition where he just moves on." Charle Rangel: "What station are you from?"
The Dems know that they usually get a pass from the MSM and this clip proves it. Luke Russert of MSNBC actually asked Rangel some tough but fair questions which clearly annoyed Rangel. Apparently Rangel thought Russert was from FOX News and also accused him of trying to make a name for himself.
But that's okay, because another reporter had Rangel's back with a follow-up question that moved the discussion away from Rangel's corruption to how Republicans might "exploit" the situation.
Notice how Rangel responds,"Now that's a good question." So, Charlie Rangel, a Democrat, is looking at ethics violations and this reporter can only ask about how Republicans might use this against the Democrats. In doing so, he shifted the emphasis of this story from Rangle's corruption to Republican exploitation.

NAACP wrap up
Buy now you've certainly seen or heard about the video in which Georgia's Director of Rural Development Shirley Sherrod (an Obama appointee) admits that she has made decisions about who to help based on race. Well, she has resigned and NAACP President Benjamin Jealous issued a statement condemning Sherrod's behavior. Apparently, Jealous feels the need to engage in damage control after the NAACP voted to condemn the Tea Party movement as racist.
Now they have something else to explain: Alvin Greene. Greene, who is facing felony obscenity charges, spoke at a local chapter of the NAACP and received an, shall we say, enthusiastic reception.
UPDATE: NAACP retracts condemnation of Shelly Sherrod:

UPDATE: NAACP retracts condemnation of Shelly Sherrod:
“With regard to the initial media coverage of the resignation of USDA official Shirley Sherrod, we have come to the conclusion we were snookered by Fox News and Tea Party Activist Andrew Breitbart into believing she had harmed white farmers because of racial bias,” said Jealous. “Having reviewed the full tape, spoken to Ms. Sherrod, and most importantly heard the testimony of the white farmers mentioned in this story, we now believe the organization that edited the documents did so with the intention of deceiving millions of Americans.”Shelly Sherrod was also scheduled to appear on Fox News with Megyn Kelley to explain her side of the story but cancelled at the last minute. According to Megan Kelly, Sherrod also claimed that she was pressured to resign by the White House. You can see the full video of Sherrod's speech here.

Biden knows how to treat the common folk
By now you've probably heard about Joe Biden's sharp rebuke of custard shop owner, Scott Borkin. Borkin, during his interview with Greta Van Susteran, said he was "shocked" by the VP's reaction. Of course, this is not the first time Biden has put his foot in his mouth, and if history is any indicator, it will certainly not be his last.
Remember, during the election Obama looked around for a running mate, saw Biden and thought, "That's my guy!". But then he also thought Reverend Wright was a good choice for a pastor - then he ran on the idea that it's not about experience, but judgement.
Speaking of Reverend Wright, he's back in the news for making more incendiary comments about Israel.

Alvin Greene: Republican conspiracy or voter apathy?
It is clear that the Dems think that they can blame Republicans for everything, including ill-informed voters. Alvin Greene, a complete unknown who is facing felony obscenity charges, won sixty-percent of the primary vote. If that is not a clear mandate, I don't know what is. Or, it could be that his name appeared first on the ballot and voters confused him with legendary R&B singer, Al Green - who knows. But it is clear that the voters of South Carolina did not care enough to find out anything about Mr. Greene.
This following video demonstrates that you can never be too surprised by ill-informed, media fed voters.
UPDATE: Voter admits voting for Alvin Greene because his name was similar to Al Green.
Nevertheless, in the spirit of "Blame Republicans first, don't ask questions later", here is Democrat Congressman James Clyburn making baseless accusations.
This following video demonstrates that you can never be too surprised by ill-informed, media fed voters.

Anger and frustration on The Left
This can't be a positive trend for the Dems. Increasingly, they are getting pilloried by their own constituents who think that the Obama administration has not moved far enough to the Left. And don't forget how angry James "The Ragin' Cajun" Carville is over Obama's handling of the oil spill.
Here are just a few examples:
First Nancy Pelosi is heckled by Code Pink, and apparently they were also throwing things. Rough crowd that Code Pink.
This small far Left crowd is not at all pleased with Obama. Please excuse the language in this video.
Last example, Obama himself was heckled at a fundraiser for Barbara Boxer.
Now, what was that about the incivility of the Tea Party movement? I hate to sound like a broken record, but if the Republicans were facing this kind of rancor from their base, and low poll numbers from the public in general, the news would sound much different than it does right now.
In fact, we often see news reports that imply Obama is just to brilliant for the average American to understand. Futhermore, those who would oppose his agenda are caricatured as ignorant, knuckle-dragging racists (i.e. Tea Partier's); therefore, we must trust in his vision for America and the world.
That is very interesting, because if I could summarize the media's general tone toward each president since 1976, it would look something like this:
The media will continue to carry water for this administration, but when you survey the landscape it is clear that a large percentage of Americans are extremely unhappy with this administration and it's policies for one reason or another.
UPDATE: In the latest presidential survey of academics, Obama already ranks higher than Reagan. Need I say more?

- Jimmy Carter - Brilliant, perhaps too brilliant.
- Reagan - Dumb, simple minded, out of touch, incompetent, perhaps the most incompetent president of the modern era.
- George H.W. Bush - Stupid (no one bought that one), out of touch.
- Clinton - Brilliant, perhaps too brilliant.

Democrat Congressman goes gangsta on college student
This is yet another example of the horrible violence coming out of the Tea Party movement... Oh wait, no this is a Democrat congressman assaulting a college student for asking a reasonable question. Well, I'm sure that the MSM will not rest until this man is forced to resign for such reprehensible behavior (unless there's a double standard). Oh wait, what's that, he apologized? Well never mind then.

Pelosi doubles-down on blame Bush
Barrack Obama is almost halfway through his first term as President. Nevertheless, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi believes that all of the problems facing America is still George Bush's fault. But on a more optimistic note, Pelosi said she will stop blaming Bush "When the problems go away".

????????????????????
I have no idea what to make of this video or what Nancy Pelosi is talking about. But one thing it does demonstrate is that the Left gets a free pass to talk about their "religious values".
Just a reminder, this is what usually happens when someone from the Right expresses a religious thought... all hell breaks loose.

James Carville blows a gusher
Ardent Democrat and Obama booster, James Carville, blows a verbal gusher all over the President for his handling of the oil spill. Notice how quickly George Stephanopoulos steps in to change the subject and plug the hole. But that still didn't stop Carville from taking one last jab at Obama.
UPDATE: Peggy Noonan had some thoughts about the signifance of Carville's comments in her Op-ed piece:
UPDATE: Peggy Noonan had some thoughts about the signifance of Carville's comments in her Op-ed piece:
"What continues to fascinate me is Mr. Obama's standing with Democrats. They don't love him. Half the party voted for Hillary Clinton, and her people have never fully reconciled themselves to him. But he is what they have. They are invested in him. In time—after the 2010 elections go badly—they are going to start to peel off. The political operative James Carville, the most vocal and influential of the president's Gulf critics, signaled to Democrats this week that they can start to peel off. He did it through the passion of his denunciations."
